Killed Prompt on Display

Hello,
When I move the Z access up with the dial it goes maybe 10mm to 20mm max then I get the prompt code “Killed” and everything is frozen. I has to shut it off and restart the controller. I have finished a print on the machine but don’t understand what this error is? Please let me know if you can shed some light on this I just got the machine.
