Re: PM Notifications...
These things are not easy to spot...
I am operating my own mail server (poor me), and yesterday I went through the logs to be sure I was not rejecting anything from 3dprintingforum.us as it could have been blacklisted there as well I I would not have noticed. But that was good, so I was sure it was something from 'your' side.

Re: PM Notifications...
I don't envy you, spam is a nightmare.
I used to run a BBS in the 90s (Wildcat! BBS software) and it later transformed to Wildcat! Information Net Server (WINS) with it's own SMTP, Listserve and other things. The programmer who took over the project spends a lot of time keeping the mail server intuitive and up to date. I stopped running my own BBS site in 2004, I still have all the old equipment...multiple 56k modems and such. Lot's of fun memories hearing 4 phone lines pick up, handshake and connect with dial in users 24/7

bbs and Fido passed away before my passion for computer technology, but those of my friends who caught these times, remember them as warm

Re: PM Notifications...
Fidonet was awesome, great content and messages, as well as a nice pipeline for new shareware files
Back in 1994 I had a satellite dish downloading Fidonet messages and file feeds at the blazing speed of 115,200. I had a batch file that would virus scan the new files, search for their description file and import that that into the BBS's 'Pending new files' area. I would then move them to the appropriate file areas for users to download. Back then, the Doom/quake mod files were very popular
Ah memories

Re: PM Notifications...
Looks like this happened again....when we did the upgrade a few weeks ago, it replaced the edited code.
I've made the edits again (removing the word 'private' from the scripted email that goes out) so it isn't eliminated as spam

Re: PM Notifications...
Okay, I'll look at it
In the past the CSS had as a subject title "You have a new Private Message" which the mail servers would flag as spam and delete.
So I changed it to "You have a new message" and that avoided the spam deletion.
I'll see if the CSS reverted...or if I need to make up a new wording
