My Markforged 2 when working right makes great prints. The nozzles lately have been gunking up. I have had to replace the extruder screw twice now, and each time it broke necessitating me going to a machinist to clear it. Markforged tells me that I should get a new assembly--$1200. I do not mean to be nebulous, but I know not how to proceed. btw, I don't have $1200 although I can afford the bronze (or is it brass?) extruder screw ($50). I could clean it if I could get it out without breaking it.
Any advice would be well-appreciated.
