Daily routine of logging in again...
I wonder: is there some sort of IP check active on the board? With my macbook, which travels with me daily between my customers and home, I have to re-login every day. My iMac which stays at home does not have that issue.
It's a bit annoying to have to go through this every time I want to visit the board.
I offer you my "remember-me" key list as proof:

My laptop traveled with me through 4 different countries in the last 6 weeks and I have not seen such a behavior yet. Do you have any clear cache on exit or similar setting in your browser?

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
To eliminate that I've been trying in multiple browsers over the last week or so, and I have the samen problem in both Chrome and Firefox.
If you don't have that issue, the forum must really not like me
In any case, I do have Vanilla Cookie installed under Chrome but there the forum is whitelisted. It's not causing any issues for the other whitelisted sites and it still doesn't explain the problems in Firefox where I haven't installed such extensions.

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
Let me second this...
I see the same on my (android) phone and tablet, I don't have it on my laptops/desktops.
In all cases it is Firefox, no particular add-ons, and there are other forums where I always stay connected, so I do not believe it is an issue with my configuration.
It is a bit of a pain, because I use random passwords that I don't know by heart, so I recently gave up in connecting from my 'mobile' devices...

I use Firefox on my laptop and Opera on my Android mobile phone. In both setups I have not yet seen this behavior.

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
I use Chrome on my work PC and it saves my log in credentials for me.
My laptop is Linux (Peppermint OS) and I use Chrome on that too. Chrome remembers my credentials once I click on Log in.
I haven't been a big Firefox fan (hate hunting for things in it).
I have not run into the issue you describe here. But I'll see what my home laptop does.

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
I'm now 99.9% sure it is something on the side of the forum.
I've checked the forum cookies before opening the forum. 3 cookies present and expiry date a year from now (*_k = remember me key, *_s = session id and the *_u = user id).
Opened the forum and was logged out.
The strange thing is that it just re-generated the "remember me" cookie, the `*_u` (which contains the logged in user id) is still there and containing my correct user id.

What is the expiry date on these three cookies? Mine is 1 year from now.

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
As I mentioned: Expiry a year from now.
If they were expired the browser would've already removed them and I would't be able to look them up in the first place
So in-my-web-developer-opinion the forum decides for some reason that the remember-me key is invalid and simply generates a new one.
Guess I would have to dive in the phpbb source code to see what that might be if it's not linked to the IP address.

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
I haven't changed any settings with cookies or the like since install and upgrade
(I haven't had any time to tinker with the forum software) It's interesting how it affects you and not others?
Have you tried other browsers?

Re: Daily routine of logging in again...
I have had this problem since the start of the forum but I figured you were too busy so didn't mention it then.
And it's not just me, Amedee just said he has the same problem.
I have the issue in both Chrome and Firefox, mentioned that above as well.
And since this morning I can also confirm that I am entering the forum with all 3 cookies present, valid and a year left on their expiry.
The forum still throws my login out.
