After 3 attempts I finally 3D printed 2 parts with a 1.5mm pitch that screw together.
I don't have a tap for this size, Ø31.5x1.5mm pitch is non standard.
With a little cleaning up this is the results of the test pieces I printed on a resin printer.
very proud of these.

Re: Thread on plastic parts
After a bit more trial and error I have managed to print a 1mm pitch thread.
The secret is to have the thread vertical in the printer, plus a few minor tweaks the the thread .
This one is very smooth with no play, I'm so pleased with the prints.
I think this is the limit of a resin printer, at the moment.
