There are many Z Rod diameter's and Pitch's

If you tell us more about your 3D Printer this could give us a ideal of what you have or if your 3D Printer is DIY what you may need.

Based on what I found here, I am guessing T8?

I would guess a T8 x 8 myself. Unless the previous owner changed these out for alignment reasons.

It would be easier if we could see a photo showing the lead screw thread.

My 3D Printer came with a T8 x 1.25mm thread these were terrible lead screws, they was replaced with T8 x 8 - 8mm pitch per turn lead screw.

These were also terrible lead screws an wish they were never suggested for my 3D Printer.
These T8 x 8 dropped due to vibrations while the Printer was turned off, this became a hassle re-adjusting the Z-axis leveling before 3D Printing.

I again changed the lead screws to T8 x 2 these have 2mm pitch per turn. And my 3D Printer no longer needs Z-axis alignment before 3D Printing
