Help T'shoot Cause of Lousy Output

Post by lothian »

Longer LK4pro

My printer was hitherto generating excellent output. Lately it's creating the worthless output, thus wasting much time and material.

I'm certain this phenomenon shown in the image below has a specific term in the 3D universe.

(The sides should be completely smooth.)

Any theories on what causes this phenomenon; and what I should check to restore normal quality output?

We hare many ideals.
I call it Z-Wobble, it is normally caused by a wobbly Z-Axis, This could be from bent lead screws or incorrectly adjusted lead screw couplers.

Please explain more about your 3D Printer anything that could help us help you fix the surface waves.
