3d Printed Jewelry Methods

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with the process used to make these custom jewelry pieces that are often sold on ETSY:

Some claim to be solid metal and some plated. They are very cheap and need to make them fast and each one is custom, so I don't see how investment casting could be used pratcically for this, but maybe there is some other method. Are they electroplating a resin part maybe?
