Best cost effective filament that can stand up to the effects of direct sun w/o warp?

Post by TT_Vert »

I erroneously assumed since PLA melted at a quite high temp it would retain its shape in the sun. Sadly i've found that some of my thinner brackets that hold items outside of my house are warping and the friction fit is now anything but. I was reading and some said Polycarbonate is an option but it's not very cost effective so I'm hoping for other alternatives. Any input is appreciated. I am using 1.75mm PLA currently.
Thanks much

PETG has a higher TG temp of around 80C for most brands.
Also good for functional parts
