Interesting...

I didn't hear him talk much about the print quality. I did notice a lot of 3D printed parts on the printer that didn't look exceptionally good (fan shroud, etc)

From their product page, the highlights of the new printer:
3D printing is more reliable than ever with the integrated automatic bed leveling system, all metal LulzBot v2 Hot End, and heated PEI print surface.
Exactly the same features that Josef Průša is putting forward for his new I3 MK2...
... So it seems that these days we need PEI and auto-leveling :-P

Both of those features mean nothing to me. I rarely level my bed (usually after playing around with levelling for some really specialised stuff) and glass and UHU stick have yet to fail me for PLA, ABS, Nylon and PETG. All in all, not a selling point for me, but might be for beginner or intermediate users. Why, I don't know.

It looks like PEI is really good for PLA and ABS. But has some issues with other types of filament. I remember reading a review somewhere, but now I can't remember where. But I think they had to crank up the heatbed a lot.

I found that Tom reviewed a couple of different build surfaces and with PEI he could not get PET to stick (quick spoiler roundup ~11:15).

I really like Tom's channel but I felt he kind of blew the TAZ 6 review....maybe he was in a hurry to be the first one out with a review on it? Or since his channel/blog is now his occupation, he felt hurried? Either way, I am use to his very detailed approach. I was let down on this one
