Sidewinder X2 ABL probes

Artillery, in their infinite wisdom does not offer the silly plastic rods they use as ABL sensor probes for sale as replacements. I've been looking for replacement ones to have on hand, even tried printing them but they're not smooth enough.

So I'm starting this thread to document my search, hopefully others in need will either be helped by this or help others with their findings.

The probes are 2 x 15 mm, today I found some 2mm rod that looks promising so I'll throw it on my next Amazon order (I'm an Amazon addict) and report back. My plan is to cut them down and sand to length, checking with a micrometer.

Is it a BL Touch knock off?

They're very different, but much simpler thankfully. It's a BL Touch knockoff yes, but apparently not a straight ripoff.
