I took the plunge - Bambu Labs 3d printer

Post by LePaul »

Well I decided to try one out. They are running the Black Friday sale so the A1 (bed slinger) went from $349 to $299.

Its pretty darn zippy!

I'd like to get the P1S, as it is enclosed but a bit out of my budget at the moment

If you haven't seen these things in action, they work very well. It has become what I feel comfortable referring to friends new to 3D printing. I'm not crazy about referring China stuff much, but it works with ease. I've always felt bad suggesting Ender3s and the like since they can be so awful to make work reliably. The Prusas have always been a bit pricey for what they are, with a small print volume. But these Bambu Labs machines have done their research and work almost like an appliance. All those ease of use problems we've experienced over the years have really been optimized with a very low cost.

What's your thoughts?
