Hey guys,
I noticed the z-axis lead screw is a bit dirty. There are quite a few plastic 'strings' wrapped around it. The screw is very greasy but it seems to be quite dirty, it's very dark. How can I best clean this up, and what should I use to grease the axis?

Re: Cleaning the lead screw
Easier than my manual, use a toothbrush brush and apply some green lube or ptfe lube and clean it while moving the z up/down

Oh wow, that is a great guide! I just need to find the right lube, but I think I know a store that should have it.

Re: Cleaning the lead screw
So today I got my hands on some magnalube, and since I had to take out the bed I decided to clean the lead screw and the nut in one go. Your method worked perfectly! It was really necessary too, there was so much dirt, small strings of filament, etc stuck to it. Thanks again for your great guide
