I know that this Software has been around for awhile.
I See that that they incorporate 3 slicer engines into there program, such as MaterSlice, Slic3r and CuraEngine.
They include a terminal mode to view the G-Code currently being executed.
In Setting they have a large list of preconfigured 3D Printers, making setup easy.
I want to know where the open source can be located.
Where can I find a Coding Manual for creating software add-ons.
Like their Text creator, Braille creator and image converter software add-ons.
Tell me what you think of this software, is it actually worth any time to create add-ons for, or not.

The project is on github, and appears to be written in C# (works in Linux using Mono).

Re: MatterControl, Open Source software
It seems to be a dead project. There haven't been updates in the past 5 months, which usually is a bad sign.

Re: MatterControl, Open Source software
The thing to look at here is the git log on github. Interestingly, the Master branch has had no commits in the last several months, but some of the branches are more recent, including the release branches.
Kind of looks like the developers may be fairly new to git and don't fully understand the branching mechanisms. Also, the latest commits fail to build on Linux, according to the CI setup they have.

Re: MatterControl, Open Source software
Another interesting tidbit - there is nothing tagged 1.7.5 in the git trees. Not sure what the 1.7.5 release is based on considering that info.
