Well I have the hardened nozzle and one coming from Anders.

Recall this is an Ultimaker Original and not a +

Well I really can't find it. But this it's the post where I did test the anders olsson nozzle with a dual fan setup.

Labern says something really interesting about the airflow and distance, but to make a good good good fan cap you need a airflow simulator.

Do you want to splice them parallel or serial?

If parallel:

I would separate the red and black if they are together first. Then cut the existing wires somewhere convenient. remove approx. 5mm of the insulation on both ends. Do the same on the wires of the new fan and twist the red respectively black cables from both fans and tin them. Put 15-20mm of heat shrink over the connector side and move it away, then solder the combined cables from the fans to the connector side cables and cover the soldering with the heat shrink.

Or did I misunderstand the question?

Well I used the Snap Locks to tie in the positives together and the negatives together, so they were sharing the connection

That would be parallel but the snap locks don't take the vibrations too well I assume. Soldering is more stable.

Oh, I meant to add that the airflow was really good on the new shroud.

As I said, the datasheet is not affirmative re PWM, so I would say NO...

But is the Ultimaker Original using PWM fan?
I am not having much like finding a PWM fan that is 50x50x15

Guys one question... UMO works with 19V right? What's the maximum load it can handle? Also, should 24V fans (the ones umo+ uses) work on umo? UMO+ default fans work perfect with the pwm, so the little difference in V it might just make them work a %? less? Just brainstorming.

Yes, PWM is used to regulate the speed of the fan. The shorter the pulse width the slowest the fan goes.
If you put a non-PWM fan, it will go 100% and then completely stops when the pulse width goes under a percentage.

I think the splice failed on the second fan, since plugging direct 12v battery didn't spin it

But even if it did, you're saying it would not have worked. Ok, but aren't PWM fans 3 wire, not 2?

Anyone have a link to a PWM capable 50mm fan?
